Quiet

We were sitting in the dining room eating lunch, just you and me.  You commented on how quiet it was.  You shushed me and said that you could hear Jesus.  I asked you what he was saying and you said "nothing."  Than you said you could hear the holy ghost.
Once again you are amazing and have such a huge understanding.
Every night you pray you bless, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost and for you to grow big.  I love your sweet spirit and how much you just know.  I can already tell that you know for you and not because that is what we teach you.
One day in primary I was crying while teaching and you told me that you started to almost cry because I was crying.  I was explaining to you that I felt they holy ghost.  You were like ya I know and than said you felt the holy ghost too.
You are amazing with such a great testimony and love for everything.

Snails

You were telling me that snails are your favorite and wanting to know where they lived.  Than you came in later and told me they have a shell so they are protected, ya-just like an armadillo.
End of conversation
So funny

Scripture

In primary you have a scripture chart and you are so good at reading your scriptures every night.  Way better than any of us do.  You want your prize so bad from the bishop.
In our new daily studies I was teaching you about King Benjamin and how he got old and died.  You wanted to know how he died, I explained to you that his hair turned white and he got old and died.
You were like, "oh no is my nalli and white haired grandpa gonna die,"  Oh NO!.  I said yes they are old but they won't die for a long time.  Phew, but you are constantly asking if they are going to die.  You one time asked if Nalli is going to die, I said yes and you asked, "but she'll come back, right?"  I said yes and you were happy with the answere.  You really are too smart and understand how everything works too much for a 4 year old.  It really is so funny.
Than King Noah who is bad, was about to die in the scriptures that you almost started crying.  I had to hurry and quickly tell the story and move on to a happy one.
You are so fun, and the most caring boy ever.  I love it!

What the Hell?

You are too smart for you age, that is for sure.  I keep saying I need to write down everything you say, but there is too much on a daily basis.  What 4 year old uses the word "actually."
I love being in primary with you.  I love watching you learn and being able to follow up with you on everything.
After church a couple week ago I had to drop off a book to someone for primary.  I brought you along.  I could not find the house and you and your smart ways, said, "Where the hell is it,"  I instantly asked you to say it again and there it was, "Where the hell is it,"  I told you that was a bad word.  Oh you were so upset, you started crying and I had to hold your for 10 minutes.  I asked you what was wrong and you said you said a bad word.  I tried consoling you, explaining it was ok and you probably heard from TV. (we later think you learned it from a kid at church)
Later that night Grandma and Grandpa came over.  You told Grandpa Craig, what you said, and that hell is a bad word and you shouldn't say that.  I said Dexter,  why are you saying that word again.  Your response was, well I need to tell Grandpa so he knows its a bad word.  Too funny.
Than later that night, we were all out in the shed figuring out a leak and you walked right in and said, "Hey, what the hell are you guys doing,"  You covered your mouth because you know what you said accidentally.  I had to get stern this time, and you cried.
The next day Daddy explained the difference between bad words and swear words.  And so far no Hell words have been spoken since than.  So good job, but it was so funny.  I loved it.  Anytime you hear a new word you always try to find ways to use it.  I am sure this won't be the last time we hear a swear word from you.
You are funny!  And make everyday of mine the best.
