Mergia

  • Today you got to have your first sleepover with your cousins; Parker and Carson.  You were so excited that you couldn't wait.  You sat at the window and stared out waiting for them to come.  I said lets go to the store to help pass the time.  As we arrive to the store.  You start talking to me about planets, stars, moons and earth.  The sun in a star, the moon has rocks and we live on earth.  You asked me which planet was the smallest.  Uhhhhh!  I didn't know the answer.  Because Pluto is no longer a planet, I didn't know the answer.  You said Mergia was the smallest planet.  I thought you were just making up stuff.  So I texted David for the answer and he didn't know, I told him to ask everyone at work and get the answer.  He didn't know.  We finished our shopping.  I asked the grocery guy if he knew what the smallest planet.  He didn't know and he asked fellow cashiers and they didn't know.  I told him I would figure it out and let him know.  Right as soon as I was at the grocery door, the cashier run up and tell me that they figured it out and it was Mercury.  That is what you were trying to say, your understanding of Mercury translated into Mergia.  So once again you were right and I felt really dumb because you knew more than more.  So good job on your planet smartness, Mergia, Mercury is the same for my genius 4 year old who learned all this from Bubble Guppies.
